As a Dog Bather, you will deliver exceptional pet grooming services, provide gentle animal handling, and contribute to a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Duties Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper animal restraint techniques Perform bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and grooming services according to breed standards and customer preferences Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior during grooming sessions Monitor pets for signs of stress or health issues, communicating concerns to veterinary staff as needed Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and care instructions Support pet care routines such as feeding, medication administration, or kennel cleaning when required Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Strong animal handling skills with patience and compassion for nervous or energetic pets Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs or equipment) Experience with veterinary assisting or technician roles is advantageous Familiarity with pet grooming tools, animal restraint methods, and pet care best practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
