We are seeking a hands-on, people-first General Manager to help lead and strengthen our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves leading people, building strong teams, creating structure, and delivering excellent service. We are looking for a calm, emotionally intelligent leader who can hold high standards while creating a supportive and positive work environment. Pet industry experience is not required. Strong leadership and people management experience is required. What You'll Do Hire, train, coach, and lead a team of 12-16 employees Build schedules and manage staffing coverage Create accountability and improve team performance Maintain high standards for customer service, cleanliness, and operations Step into operations and support the team when needed Resolve customer and team concerns professionally and proactively Help improve systems, workflows, and operational consistency Partner closely with ownership on business growth and daily operations What We're Looking For 5+ years of management experience in hospitality, retail, wellness, childcare, healthcare, restaurants, fitness, or other service-based industries Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Comfortable holding people accountable in a respectful, professional way Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented Confident using Google Docs, Sheets, scheduling software, and technology systems A leader who leads by example and genuinely enjoys developing people Our Core Values Warm & welcoming High standards Accountability Teamwork Problem-solving Excellence in service Compensation & Benefits $30/hour after 90-day probationary period (~$62,400/year full-time) Health insurance options (BCBS PPO) 401(k) with company match PTO and sick pay Paid training Employee discounts Supportive ownership team Opportunity to grow with an established small business How to Apply Please apply with: Your resume A short note sharing: your management experience the size of teams you've led why you enjoy leading people If you are a strong, service-minded leader who loves building teams and creating positive customer experiences, we'd love to meet you.
