Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper animal restraint techniques Assess each pet's coat condition and skin health, recommending additional veterinary or veterinary technician services when necessary Maintain a clean, organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming procedures, aftercare instructions, and any health concerns observed during grooming Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes to ensure a smooth customer experience Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint to ensure safety for pets and staff Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as tubs or large dogs safely and comfortably Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members Background in animal handling, pet sitting, or kennel experience is highly desirable Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine love for animals are essential for success in this roleJoin us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners through expert grooming and compassionate care!
