Job Description:
We are seeking a pet groomer to join our talented grooming team. This role is a rewarding one, working with pets to complete breed specific cuts, trim paw pads, complete sanitary trims and nail trims on small to extra large breed dogs. Our ideal candidate would also be available to groom cats but this is not a requirement. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and passion to make pets pretty. Your compensation is a 50/50 split on each groom plus the tips you earn daily.
Compensation:
Split of your individual groom profit 50/50 as well as receive your own tips.
Responsibilities:
Complete detailed baths, cuts and brush outs of clients pets Complete medicated baths and Furminator treatments in conjunction with grooms as requested Complete nail trims and nail grinds Complete expression of glands as requested Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all grooming areas, cleaning equipment multiple times daily Work well with other teammates and demonstrate initiative to contribute to the overall productivity of the team
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of professional grooming experience completing detailed cuts and trims on pets Ability to work several weekdays and, ideally, partial days on Saturdays. Available to work 25-40 hour work week Keen focus on the clients specific requests and attention to detail Pleasant and customer focused disposition Ability to develop an understanding of animal behavior and interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Passion to create a friendly, home environment for pets
