• Part-time, Full-time, Contract Job Overview The Dog House is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team!

Currently, we are looking for Groomer with skills in the area of full grooms and cuts including doodles. Experience is a must, we aren't able to train yet but in the future we will be able too. We have a great environment and a calm atmosphere. Our style is one-on-one, no kennels! We are only looking for a team member who enjoys being around dogs, who can show up and wants to work together! Great pay, full tips and a great environment to work in! A relocation bonus can be discussed too! Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing of various dog breeds and other small animals Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to minimize stress and ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, work area, and animal kennels in accordance with health standards Offer exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions Heavy lifting of animals or equipment may be necessary during grooming procedures or facility maintenance Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming, animal handling, or related fields such as veterinary technician or assistant experience is preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary care practices is advantageous Strong animal restraint skills to ensure safety during grooming procedures Experience with DOODLES Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for animals or equipment Compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners, with a focus on providing gentle and professional care Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
