Duties:

• Groom and style pets according to client specifications and breed standards
• Bathe and dry pets using appropriate grooming techniques and products
• Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as needed
• Perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing, de-shedding, and dematting
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with kennel duties such as cleaning up after pets

Experience:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a formal grooming program is preferred
• Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
