Camp Bow Wow Southport Kennel Attendant:

Every dog deserves the best - they deserve the premier, all-inclusive services of Camp Bow Wow. We offer Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming here. Ideal candidates need to truly love dogs. This Job requires you to be on your feet for most of your shift. Front desk is very fast paced here, you have to be comfortable with chaos. We get to know all of our customers and their dogs. HAVE to have top notch customer service. •This will not be a job you just sit at the front desk all day•We are constantly answering phones, checking dogs in and out- we have a system that we use so you have to be comfortable with learning a lot. Back of house is very important. You will have to be in the play yards with up to 25 different dogs of any size for up to several hours of your shifts here. You have to be on it with cleaning up messes after the dogs. We scoop it up & then immediately spray down with the hose outside or mop it up inside as well as spraying walls / PowerLoo down & moving our play equipment to check under. We squeegee down our yards throughout the day and dispose of hair in the trash. All the dogs must pass a behavioral assessment; we do not allow mean dogs at Camp Bow Wow. You will be expected to give love and attention to EACH and EVERY dog. We love all these dogs like they are our own here. We learn all of their names and get to know each of their characteristics and stay on top of making sure everyone is getting along. If you are out of yard you will be expected to clean cabins, play yards, dishes, and other general cleaning around the building. Again, this job requires a lot of cleaning! You cannot be afraid of dog poop, pee, or throw up if you want to work here! We also make dogs meals, give them their meals, mark if theyre eating, enhance meals if they aren't eating. it will be beneficial if you are willing to learn how to give baths & nail trims, etc. Again, This job is very fast paced. Some days we have 30 dogs here some days we have over 100. Holidays are the busiest times for us! We have to show up for these dogs. You will be expected to work some holidays. If you have poor work attendance or struggle to be on time, please do not apply. We are looking to hire 1 or 2 people.
