Job Description

R.C. Kennels is looking to hire 2-3 people for kennel technicians! This includes Monday
  • Friday positions and weekend availability needed occasionally We are seeking energetic and caring animal lovers to fill our kennel tech positions!
Duties include:
The cleaning of kennels indoors and outdoors for dogs that are boarding with us
  • The cleaning and care of cats, or any other animal that may require a stay at our facility
  • Poop scooping our large outdoor yards where the dogs enjoy playtime
  • Supervising playtime and managing playmates in the yards and inside the building
  • Daily sanitation of play areas inside and outside
  • Working until the job is done and our animals have been loved and cared for
  • Working as a team to complete tasks
  • Washing dishes including the animals dishes.
Weekday shift starts at 6:45 AM, Saturdays and Sundays start at 8 AM, so we need you to be an early riser! Your own reliable transportation is required. We do NOT require experience, we will train you as we go on the job. You must be willing to learn new things, stand on your feet for long periods of time and be able to lift heavy when needed (of course with help). Occasionally light bathing may be required to keep our pups clean and happy during their stay with us. This job pays weekly. Holidays are required for this job. The entire staff works the holiday in order to expedite the job so you can enjoy the rest of your holiday and so our animals boarding enjoy theirs too! We are open Monday through Friday from 7 AM until 6 PM, Saturday from 8 AM until 1 PM, and Sunday from 8 AM until 12 PM. Your shift is over when the job is complete, therefore, working as part of a team is vital to completing the necessary daily tasks! Hours may vary due to the volume of animals staying with us. Please stop in at 12344 Kennel Drive (right across from the airfield gate, look for our signs) to fill out an application, get a quick tour, and let us answer any questions you may have!
