Job Description

K9 Attendant - Hounds Town Crestwood Looking for more than just a job? Hounds Town Crestwood is seeking a reliable, hardworking K9 Attendant to join our pack. As a K9 Attendant, you'll be responsible for supervising and caring for our furry clients, ensuring they have a fun and safe experience while they're with us, while also helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility. This is much more than a job playing with dogs. Our K9 Attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for large groups of dogs, providing exceptional care to our guests, and ensuring our facility remains clean and welcoming for pets and their owners.
Responsibilities:
Providing care and supervision for dogs of all sizes and breeds in a fully interactive environment Monitoring dog behavior and maintaining a safe playgroup environment Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and grooming appointments Maintaining a clean and safe kennel environment throughout the day Administering medication to dogs as directed by their owners Providing lots of love and attention to our furry guests Helping to manage daily operations of the facility Providing excellent customer service to pet parents
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Must have your own reliable transportation Must have flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays Position begins part-time, with opportunities for additional hours, leadership development, and advancement for dependable team members Must have a passion for working with dogs Previous experience working in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or similar environment is a plus Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a pack Strong reliability and attendance are required Willing to clean up after dogs all day long (You know what we mean)
