Pet Sitter - Dog Walker

This is an Independent Contractor Position for pet sitting services in Baton Rouge. Furkids Sitting & Services LLC will contact you with the dates a client has requested for sitting services. Once you accept the request, you are responsible for completing the visit as the client requests. Visit times are generally 30-45 minutes. The time may be spent walking the dog(s), feeding the pet(s), cleaning up any messes you (or they) have made (counter and spoons cleaned), scooping the litter box, playing, petting, and loving the furkids. Retrieve mail, paper, and packages, and water plants (if requested), as well as other weekly tasks, such as bringing garbage cans to/from the curb. Pet-sitting visits are usually scheduled at approximately the same time each day to maintain continuity for the dog(s), cat(s), and other pets. Most cat visits are once daily, and that time can (usually) be as suits your schedule unless otherwise specified by the client. If visits are twice daily for dogs and cats, please schedule one visit in the morning (6:30-8 a.m.) and one in the early evening (7-8 p.m.), unless the client requests otherwise. The client will provide you with information about their home, their furkids, and how they would like services to be provided. You will have the opportunity to electronically update the client after each visit, which is an integral part of the service. Please also respect the client's confidentiality. Do not bring others to the house or tell anyone that a client is away. Pet-sit requests are often for a week at a time, with most requests for weekends and holidays, as most people travel on those days.
