Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed, size, and coat condition Handle dogs with care and confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Assist in training dogs to become comfortable with grooming procedures through gentle handling and positive reinforcement Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice Monitor dogs' health during grooming sessions, noting any signs of skin issues or discomfort that may require veterinary attention Help with animal handling tasks such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or basic animal care when needed Skills Strong knowledge of dog grooming techniques and animal handling skills to ensure calm and safe grooming sessions.
