Food Cart Attendant
SUPERVISOR
F&B Supervisors/FOH Manager EXEMPT (Y/N): No
CLASSIFICATION
Key Employee SUMMARY:
Responsible for the efficient serving of all food cart items. This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Organize and prep food cart menu as directed by the chef and kitchen staff. Execute an assist with other staff in assuring excellent guest service. Ability to work well with other team members. Responsible for the sanitation of the general work area of the cart, as well as food cart station. Ability to multi-task high volume activity, payment transactions, cash, credit card and comp services. Must be serve-safe oriented, knowledge of proper sanitation practices and systems. Must have knowledge of proper cooking temperatures and know how to use a thermometer correctly. Responsible for setup, maintaining, breaking down, and cleaning specific food cart station or stations. Must understand the importance of "Clean as You Go" concept. Perform food preparation functions as necessary or assigned. All food must be wrapped, dated, and labeled after each shift. Prepare for rush periods. Ability to read, write and communicate with staff and guest in English Ability to multi-task calmly and efficiently. Basic Mathematic abilities. Basic money handling abilities. Must be able to operate both computerized and non-computerized sale system. Requires being mobile 100% of the time. Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policy and procedures. Promotes Positive Customer relations, greets guest and creates friendly atmosphere. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers at all levels. Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines. Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. Must successfully pass drug screen and tribal gaming commission licensing. Tribal preference.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED). Minimum six (6) months experience in a multi high-volume food prep operation (a casino atmosphere preferred).
WORKING CONDITIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand extended periods of time in one's location. Requires lifting up to 75 lbs. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 300 lbs. Requires normal sense of smell, taste, touch and sound. Requires the use of electrical equipment and sharp utensils. Requires regular, consistent attendance. Work area may be small with heavy production. Ability to work in smoky environment. Ability to tolerate extensive background noise and still remain calm and courteous.
