Assist with pet restraint techniques to safely manage animals during grooming or veterinary procedures. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Support veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, or basic animal care tasks as needed, leveraging veterinary technician or assistant experience. Engage in pet sitting or kennel duties when required, demonstrating heavy lifting capabilities for handling larger animals or equipment. Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with an eye for detail and style. Strong animal handling skills, including dog training and restraint techniques. Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable. Knowledge of animal care practices across different species such as dogs, cats, and equines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for animal or equipment handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners. Familiarity with kennel operations, pet sitting, and general animal care routines.
