Professional Pet Groomer

We are expanding and opening a second location!! We are extremely busy with the honor of winning the "Best of Upper Cape" several years in a row, giving us a wonderful clientele. We are in search of a few talented groomers to add to our amazing team who will continue offering exceptional grooming and top notch customer service that our clients are accustomed to. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to all breeds, large and small. It is especially beneficial if you have experience grooming cats. If you have a love for animals and are looking for a career in grooming with a reputable Falmouth-based company, we would like to hear from you.

Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' fur
• Provide nail trims, ear cleaning
• Assess and address any skin or coat issues
• Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming preferences
• Effective use of grooming software to view schedule, keep proper grooming notes and check out clients.

Skills:

• 1 year experience in pet grooming
• Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
• Proficiency in handling various grooming tools and equipment
• Ability to lift heavy animals and perform physical tasks associated with grooming
• Exception customer service skills to interact with pet owners and address their concerns
• Patience and compassion when working with animals, especially those who may be anxious or fearful
• Basic knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus
• Pet First Aid/CPR is a plus

• $1200 per week(commensurate with experience level) + 100% of collected tips 8am
• 4pm Tuesday
