Job Description

Animal Care is hiring for a part time Kennel/ Daycare Attendant for our full service animal clinic, boarding facility, and daycare located in Ipswich, MA. We are looking for a hardworking, energetic, and reliable individual to join our team.
Kennel Attendant Responsibilities include:
  • Feeding, medicating, watering and cleaning up after boarding and hospital patients
  • Letting dogs out for playtime
  • Being comfortable supervising small groups of dogs in yard
  • General cleaning and upkeep of both kennel and hospital Knowledge of basic animal care, handling and restraint is preferred, but will train the right individual.
The ideal candidates must be reliable, have own transportation and have a good attitude with pets and people. Frequently lift, carry dogs weighing 50 lbs. Weekends and rotating holidays required . Additionally, candidates must be willing to occasionally cover shifts for absent co-workers. Great opportunity for a local college student who lives nearby.
