We aren't just a kennel; we're a community of dog lovers dedicated to the highest standards of care. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kennel Supervisor, Animal Care Attendant, or Animal Care Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves overseeing daily kennel operations, ensuring the highest standards of animal care, and providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for animals, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to managing pet care routines. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all animals in our facility while supporting team members in delivering outstanding pet care services. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily kennel activities, including feeding, cleaning, and exercise routines for animals Assist with dog training sessions and behavioral assessments to promote positive pet development Handle animal restraint safely during examinations or grooming procedures Provide pet grooming, pet sitting, and basic veterinary assistance as needed to ensure optimal animal well-being Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior, and treatment plans in compliance with veterinary protocols Support veterinary technicians and assistants with routine procedures and patient handling Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and care instructions Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move animals or equipment safely within the facility Experience Previous kennel experience or animal handling background is highly preferred Experience with dog training and behavioral management techniques Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and pet sitting responsibilities Familiarity with animal restraint methods and basic veterinary procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Join us in creating a caring environment where animals thrive!
