THIS IS A MONDAY
through
FRIDAY PART TIME AND AS NEEDED
POSITION, Averaging 15 to 22 hours a week , most work is BETWEEN 10am & 3pm, HOWEVER, occasional mornings and afternoons may be available.
HOURS ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND VARY BASED ON HOW MANY CLIENTS ARE ON THE SCHEDULE.
Applicant should be 18 or older AND live in our service area: Bel Air, Forest Hill, Fallston, Abingdon or Churchville area.
Must have:
  • own/reliable transportation, we drive to & from multiple client homes each shift
  • cell phone with data plan, phone will be used for work daily
  • the ability to walk in all types of weather, cold, heat, rain, snow etc……
  • the ability to handle large dogs that pull, including bending & lifting, NO physical restrictions or limitations
  • the ability to handle cats & cleaning litter boxes
  • high school diploma Must be:
  • able to pass a background check
  • reliable & trustworthy
  • have strong verbal & written communication
  • detail oriented & able to follow directions $ Paid training and earn your certificate in Pet First Aid and CPR.

JOB DUTIES
include but not limited to:
  • Drive to customer's homes to care for their pets: dogs, cats, birds. Visits are done in increments of time, 20 mins, 30 mins, 45 minutes or an hour. You are driving to multiple homes during a shift
  • Feed and provide water according to client instructions, MUST be able to follow specific and detailed directions
  • Walk dogs or yard play, engage and play with cats etc...
  • May need to administer medications per client instructions
  • Collect and dispose of pet waste, including dogs and cat litter boxes as well as bird cage clean up
  • Document care and take pictures to send to clients

  • Do you live in our service area?
(Bel Air, Abingdon, Forest Hill, Fallston, Churchville) And are you comfortable caring for all types of animals including large dogs that pull, cats and birds. You must be able to pass a background check AND be able to physically handle dogs that are large that pull and jump.
