Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Handle dogs with care, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Assist with pet handling and restraint techniques to facilitate grooming while minimizing stress for the animals Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work areas Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming needs and provide recommendations for pet care Support additional animal care tasks such as pet sitting or kennel duties as needed Uphold safety protocols related to animal handling, and equipment use to ensure a secure environment Skills Strong knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling Skilled in pet grooming, including bathing, trimming, and styling for various breeds Ability to safely restrain animals using humane methods and handle animals with patience and compassion .
