Job Description

Animal Care Technician - Boarding & Dog Daycare Do you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Animal Care Technician to join our busy boarding and dog daycare team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional care for our canine and feline guests while helping create a safe, clean, and positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and safely manage groups of dogs in daycare and play areas Monitor pet behavior and ensure a safe environment for all animals Feed, medicate (as directed), and provide daily care for boarding pets Clean and maintain kennels, play yards, and facility areas Assist with pet check-ins and check-outs Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and their pets Support team members in daily facility operations
Qualifications:
Experience handling dogs in a professional setting is required Knowledge of canine behavior and body language Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment Must genuinely enjoy working with both animals and people
