Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet client specifications and breed standards Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Assist with dog training and animal handling techniques to manage pets effectively during grooming sessions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions Restrain animals safely using appropriate animal restraint techniques to prevent injury during grooming Skills Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant Knowledge of dog training methods and veterinary experience is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work confidently with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle pets safely Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and pet owners Familiarity with kennel operations or pet sitting environments is a plus Basic understanding of veterinary procedures and animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
