As a Puppy Consultant, you will be the guiding hand in helping new pet owners understand puppy care, training, and health needs. You will be responsible for building value in our puppies and our program and for closing sales, facilitating financing and earning a handsome commission, on top of your hourly rate to do so. This energetic role combines animal handling expertise with exceptional customer service to ensure each puppy's transition to their new home is smooth, joyful, and full of love. You'll be a vital part of a team dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership and fostering happy, healthy puppies. This position will be focused on sales, and using your own cellphone to acquire new leads from a very long list of warm leads. The more money you make the company, the more money you will make with no cap. Duties Building value in puppies and our program Offering financing and payment plans Fostering a fun environment for families who are coming in for free puppy playtime Provide personalized guidance to new puppy owners on training techniques, socialization, and basic care routines Assist with puppy handling, ensuring safe and gentle interactions that promote confidence and trust Educate customers on veterinary health essentials, including vaccination schedules, nutrition, and grooming needs Support with basic pet grooming like daily bathing and brushing Maintain detailed records of puppy care activities, training progress, and customer interactions Requirements Sales Ability to work well with a team in a high volume environment Phone sales Proven experience in dog training, animal handling, or pet care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling supplies or assisting with animals Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Passion for animals combined with a proactive attitude towards education and responsible pet ownership 18 and older Summer and longer term positions available Join us in creating joyful beginnings for puppies and their families!
