Pet Groomer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the skills necessary to provide high-quality grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience while maintaining the health and well-being of the animals. We are a small, low-stress dog grooming salon in Parchment, MI which specializes in Fear Free Grooming. As a smaller shop, we prioritize meeting our two-legged client's budgets, desires and time-frames while maximizing the happiness and enjoyment of our four-legged client while they are with us. We strive to make this a fun experience for the dog and us by providing as stress-free visit as possible with plenty of praise and treats during their time with us. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for care as needed. Use appropriate grooming tools and techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of the animals. Handle animals with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Our ideal candidate is… Experienced in dog grooming techniques, however we are willing to train the right candidate.
