Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Professional Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Professional Pet Groomer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. Your expertise will help enhance the appearance and comfort of our furry clients, creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Position is a legal W-2 position. A receptionist is provide. Along with all basic tools and supplies needed. Continuing education is also paid for and recommended. Responsibilities Provide high-quality grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess each pet's grooming needs and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services provided. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition. Handle pets with care, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process. Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and pet care practices. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pet grooming. Skills Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or similar role is preferred but not required for entry-level positions. Strong knowledge of different dog and cat breeds, their grooming needs, and appropriate techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with pets and their owners. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals are essential traits for success in this role. Certification from a recognized grooming school is an advantage but not mandatory.
