Job Description

The City of Three Rivers is seeking a qualified individual for the position of part-time animal caregiver in the Department of Public Services, assigned to the Scidmore Park Petting Zoo. This position is part time, seasonal, non-union, up to 16 hours per week from May through June possibly extending through August pending approval. The 16 hours per week will occur on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30am - 3:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am - 4:00pm to accommodate the open hours of the zoo. Primary duties include interaction with the public during open hours. Secondary duties include but are not limited to animal caretaking, clean-up of the zoo barn and grounds, and coordination with Saturday park programs.
Requirements:
HS grad. or GED, MI Driver's Lic., related skills, and experience. Temporary Part-Time Position will not begin until May 5, 2026.
Rate of Pay:
$14.70/Hr. Position open until filled.
