Responsibilities Perform high-quality grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each dog's breed standards and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall behavior to determine appropriate grooming methods Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss grooming preferences, special needs, or health considerations such as allergies Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming with strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts and styling techniques Familiarity with dog training, animal restraint, and pet sitting practices Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 lbs) safely when handling large dogs or equipment.
