The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing the highest level of service to our furry clients. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the animals in our care while also assisting pet owners with their needs. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas, including cages and play areas. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and well-being. Support veterinary staff with basic tasks as required, including assisting in examinations or treatments. Ensure that all animals are handled safely and compassionately, following proper animal handling techniques. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to pet care and handling. Experience Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred but not required Skills in pet grooming, customer service, veterinary assistance, or dog handling are highly desirable. Familiarity with kennel operations and animal restraint techniques is a plus. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential.
