Kennel Attendant

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal areas
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing animals
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
• Assist with animal handling and restraint when necessary
• Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets

Experience:

• Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or pet care setting
• Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed
• Experience in dog training or pet sitting is a plus
