Dog Days is hiring a dependable, high-energy Dog Care Supervisor responsible for the safety, well-being, and daily experience of all dogs in our daycare and boarding programs. This position oversees all aspects of dog handling, playgroup management, enrichment activities, dog-related programs and behavior-related client communication, as well as guiding and training the team of Handlers in charge of dog care.

Operations Manager We are a well-established dog daycare & boarding facility with over 20 years in business, known for safe playgroups, structured enrichment, and low dog-to-staff ratios. We are not a "sit and watch dogs" facility — our team actively manages behavior, engagement, and safety throughout each shift. If you are reliable, coachable, and comfortable leading groups of dogs and people in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do This is a physically active role. You will be standing, moving, cleaning, and working in a loud environment for most of your shift. What We're Looking For Reliable attendance is extremely important — must report to work on time and as scheduled One weekend shift and some holiday availability required Comfortable working with all breeds and sizes Comfortable with barking, dog hair, odors, dog waste and cleaning tasks Physically active and able to lift 40 lbs Coachable and open to feedback Ability to stay calm and assertive in high-energy environments Must be legally available to work in the US Experience with dog handling, supervising off-leash playgroups, daycare, kennel work, vet clinics, or dog training is required. Must have extensive knowledge of dog behavior, body language and dog health, as well as be a strong communicator with solid attention to detail. Schedule This role requires a minimum of 25 hours per week. Full-time status is also available (30+ hrs/wk) Shifts available 7 days per week: Weekday shifts currently available are 6:30am
- 12:30pm or 12:30pm
- 7:00pm Weekend shifts available are 6:30am
- 12:30pm or 2:30pm
- 6:30pm (or til 9:30pm) Working a minimum of one weekend shift is required. Compensation & Benefits $20
