Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. If you have a love for animals and possess excellent grooming skills, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for various pets
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the grooming process
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health
- Provide basic grooming maintenance, including ear cleaning and teeth brushing, nail trimming
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or behavior changes during the grooming process
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners' concerns and answering their questions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pet Groomer
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs or bags of pet food
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and team members
- Certification in pet grooming is preferred but not required
- Experience in other pet-related fields such as pet sitting, pet care, equine care, dog training, or veterinary assistance is a plus If you are passionate about working with animals and have the necessary skills to provide exceptional grooming services, we encourage you to apply.
