Sign on bonus- sharpening stipend- Camp Bow Wow Lee's Summit, is a premier doggy day care, boarding and grooming facility in Lee's Summit, MO. We are now hiring a groomer who is dedicated to their work and takes pride in the quality of their work. The ideal groomer is someone who is customer obsessed (both dogs and humans) and works well independently but also in a team setting. The position is compensated by commission plus tips. Primary Responsibilities Admit pets to be groomed noting owner's specific instructions, contact information and pick up time. Bathing, brushing, heavy lifting, shaving and scissor trimming. Ear cleaning, plucking, nail trimming, and expression of anal glands. Perform all general maintenance of grooming room

• Other tasks as deemed necessary by the General Manager Essential Skills Must have at least 2 years of current, professional grooming experience.

Ability to groom based on general breed standards and customer requests Photos of work required Ability to work independently and as a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to remain calm under pressure and during stressful situations

• Able to work with a large variety of dog breeds with dogs up to 100+ lbs
• Able to interact with customers in a warm, friendly and professional manner
• Provides breed-specific standard grooms, and /or follow clients instructions so pets are groomed to specifications and satisfaction of the client.
