Good Clean Dog is launching a new, industry-disrupting concept in the pet grooming space that aims to provide the best experience for both our clients and our employees. Led by industry experts with over 30 years of collective experience in grooming and pet services, this new company will redefine how clients who value safety and convenience access grooming services for their pets. Similarly, we will set a new standard for how professionals in the industry are viewed and treated.
Job Overview:
As a Retriever , you are the ultimate team player — a true "jack-of-all-trades" who helps keep our operation running smoothly. From greeting clients and checking dogs in and out, to supervising pups during open play, to jumping in on cleaning and facility upkeep, you'll be involved in nearly every part of our business. The right Retriever is enthusiastic, outgoing, exuberant, and detail-oriented — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings energy to the team, and is always ready to go above and beyond for our customers and their pets. Retrievers are the glue that holds the team together: ensuring safety in the playrooms, delivering excellent customer service, assisting Groomician and Groom Techs as needed, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay ($15/hour, depending on experience)
Requirements:
Enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused personality Love of dogs and comfort handling them in group settings Prior pet care, daycare, or customer service experience preferred but not required (training provided) Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments Commitment to our core value of "Make Their Day" Excellent communication and people skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor Strong attention to detail and a willingness to go above and beyond for clients Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to shifting daily priorities Adherence to dresscode, including wearing a uniform Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and complete facility cleaning tasks
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and handle check-in and check-out procedures with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism Uphold the highest standards of safety and customer service while retrieving and returning dogs to and from customer vehicles in the Carside Fetch lane Monitor and interact with dogs during open play, ensuring safety and positive socialization Provide excellent customer service, always striving to exceed client expectations Support Groomicians and Groom Techs as needed (retrieving dogs for appointments, assisting with prep work, etc.) Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility, including playrooms, kennels, and client areas Perform general facility chores such as laundry, restocking, and disinfecting equipment Communicate observations, needs, or concerns about dogs to team members and leadership Contribute to team projects and continuously support the improvement of business operations
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
