Kennel Assistant A Country Kennel Castle Hayne, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $12 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Companion animal handling Pet care facility experience Dog handling Laundry Appointment scheduling Full Job Description We recently relocated to Castle Hayne, and are super happy to be back! I am looking to build our team with new compassionate kennel techs. We are currently only considering applications with kennel experience. Also, keep in mind it 's the holiday season and you will likely be scheduled for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Boarding:
Let the dogs out, maintain boarding yards, clean kennels, feed, administer medication
Daycare:
Supervise 10-20 dogs, maintain a clean and safe environment, keeping water clean and full
Services:
Baths, blow drying, nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression
Reception :
Check-ins/Check-outs, answering phone and email, placing reservations in a polite and professional manner Cleaning- sweeping, mopping, laundry, dishes is a regular part of the jobs Weekend and Holiday availability are a requirement of this job, as these are the busiest times at our facility. You are required to work one major holiday/yr. Shifts are 6:40-6 with an hour and a half lunch break (about 10 hrs/day). Full time employees work 4 days/wk and part time employees work 2-3 days/wk. Starting pay is $12/hr- with experience pay is reevaluated after 2 months, without experience pay is reevaluated after 3 months.
