Kennel Attendant -
Dry Pond Animal Hospital and Pet Resort Location:
Denver, NC Employment Type:
Full-time Dry Pond Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is seeking a caring, reliable, and motivated Full Time Kennel Attendant to join our dedicated team! Our kennel attendants play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the pets in our care.
Responsibilities include:
Feeding, walking, and providing enrichment for dogs Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, runs, and common areas Assisting with laundry, dishes, and facility upkeep Monitoring the health and behavior of boarding and daycare dogs Communicating effectively with veterinary and resort staff Providing compassionate care and attention to all animals
Qualifications:
Previous animal care or kennel experience preferred, but not required Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle animals of all sizes safely Positive attitude and commitment to excellent animal care Flexibility in schedule
Important Availability Requirement:
This position requires availability on weekends and holidays. Our pets need care every day of the year, and we are looking for team members who can commit to a consistent, reliable schedule.
