GOAL TO TRANSITION TO FULL TIME

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Woofie's of Northwest Raleigh. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their appearance. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to animal care and have a strong passion for working with pets.

Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets' fur
• Trim pets' nails and clean their ears
• Assess the condition of pets' skin and coat, and provide appropriate treatments
• Handle pets with care and ensure their safety during grooming sessions
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming area and equipment
• Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners

Requirements:

• Previous experience grooming is required.
• Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
• Strong animal handling skills to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
• Knowledge of basic pet care and ability to identify any health issues in pets
• Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment
