Experienced Dog Groomer

Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing tailored to each dog's breed standards and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure a stress-free grooming experience Assess each dog's coat, skin condition, and overall health, alerting pet owners to any concerns or veterinary needs Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes, providing friendly customer service at all times Support additional animal care duties such as pet sitting or kennel management when needed, demonstrating versatility in animal handling skills Requirements Proven experience as a professional dog groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques Knowledge of dog training principles and veterinary experience beneficial for understanding canine behavior and health issues Ability to handle dogs safely using animal restraint methods; familiarity with pet grooming tools and products Experience working with animals in veterinary technician or assistant roles is highly desirable Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed grooming tasks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is a plus, demonstrating comprehensive animal handling capabilities Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for animal care that shines through in every groom Join us in creating joyful experiences for pets and their owners!
