Experienced Groomer

Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and de-matting for dogs and other small animals Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Conduct dog training exercises as needed to improve behavior during grooming sessions Assist with veterinary-related tasks such as animal handling, veterinary technician support, or veterinary assistant duties when required Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and pet health concerns Support pet sitting and pet care responsibilities as part of comprehensive animal handling and kennel experience Experience Proven experience as a professional groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques Background in dog handling, animal restraint, and pet grooming practices Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Familiarity with animal care procedures including kennel management, heavy lifting, and pet sitting Knowledge of dog training methods and behavioral management techniques Experience working with diverse animals such as dogs, cats, horses (equine experience), or other small pets Excellent customer service skills combined with a genuine passion for animal welfare Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners! $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
