Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dog Bather to join our grooming team. The ideal candidate loves working with animals, is comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and stress-free environment for our furry clients.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe dogs using appropriate techniques and products based on breed and coat type.
  • Brush and detangle coats before and after bathing.
  • Dry dogs using hand and stand dryers in a safe, gentle manner.
  • Clean ears, trim nails, and express anal glands when requested or as needed.
  • Assist groomers with prepping dogs for grooming appointments.
  • Handle dogs safely and securely to minimize stress and prevent injury.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bathing and grooming areas, including sanitation of tools and equipment.
  • Monitor dogs for signs of stress, discomfort, or health concerns and report to management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a positive experience.
  • Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in dog bathing or grooming (preferred but not required).
  • Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle dogs (up to \[weight] lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Genuine love for animals and a patient, calm demeanor.
  • Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday with hours ranging from 8am to 2pm.
With a small chance of working on a Sunday.
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
