Job Summary:

The objective of this role is to provide impeccable pet care.

K9 C.A.R.E.

Specialists will be the primary caregivers for all of our canine guests, and we strive to create a safe and enjoyable experience for all the dogs in our care. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. Your love for animals and excellent customer service skills will help ensure that every customer and dog has a positive experience at our resort.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

Feed, water, and administer medications to dogs according to their specific needs Clean and sanitize dog suites, play areas, and common spaces to maintain a healthy environment Exercise and engage pets in playgroups and socialization activities Provide 1:1 care, walks, and enrichment to non-group dogs Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or behavioral issues and report concerns to management Provide basic grooming services, such as bathing, brushing, and nail trims Assist with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate documentation of pet care instructions Maintain a safe and secure environment for all pets by following resort protocols Communicate with pet owners about their dogs' experiences and any concerns Work collaboratively with the resort team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care Handle pets of various sizes, breeds, and personalities with confidence and care

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, higher education in pet related field is a plus Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, shelter, or veterinary setting preferred Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, 10,000+ steps per day, and standing for long periods of time Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific care instructions Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with dogs of all types Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously Basic computer skills, familiarity with Gingr is a plus A commitment to providing excellent customer service Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed About All American Pet Resorts•
