Job Description

Overview Located in Hickory, North Carolina! Love dogs? Enjoy staying busy and making pets look their best? We're looking for a dependable, hard working Bather to join our grooming team! Responsibilities Bathe, dry, and prep pets for groomers to cut/ style or for bath appointments Ensure the safety and comfort of all animals during the bathing process Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools Handle animals gently and effectively to minimize stress Assist in animal restraint as needed during grooming procedures Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and behaviors Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions Maintain accurate records of services provided for each pet Help with laundry, cleaning, and daily salon tasks
What We're Looking For:
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes Positive attitude and willingness to learn Proficient in dog handling techniques and animal care practices Familiarity with pet grooming tools and techniques are required Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or multiple pets Previous bathing experience is required Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners Weekend availability required Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
