Job Summary This is a job with so many perks. Being with dogs is good for the soul. Our staff gets to watch the dogs playing together and making new friends every day. We get to share little loving moments with the sweetest dogs, and we get to run around and be silly with playful pups. Yet, there is no denying it - this job is hard work! A lot of really physically demanding work goes into making sure the space is clean and the pets are safe. Anyone that likes dogs may think this job is for them, but only the most dedicated dog-lovers go the distance and become part of our team. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and monitoring their mood/health Using professionalism and keeping to task on time, proper dog handling Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming as needed Maintain a clean and organized kennel environment by disinfecting lodging areas, bedding, and common areas constantly Engage in basic dog training exercises to promote good manners and socialization If you love being outside and staying active , this job might be for you.
