About Us At Sweetie Paws Dog Grooming, we believe every dog deserves to look and feel their best. Our salon provides a calm, clean, and compassionate environment where pets are treated like family. We're a growing grooming salon with a loyal customer base and a reputation for excellent care, quality grooming, and outstanding customer service. We're currently looking for a talented, dependable, animal-loving groomer to join our friendly team! Responsibilities Bathe, brush, and dry dogs of all breeds and sizes Perform full grooming services, including breed-specific cuts, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and any health concerns noticed during appointments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment Handle pets with patience, kindness, and confidence Follow all salon procedures and safety protocols Requirements Minimum of 3 years of professional grooming experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Passion for animals and strong pet-handling skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift dogs up to 50 lbs Must be available to work Saturdays Compensation Commission-based pay 100% of tips Steady client flow with opportunity to build a loyal customer base
