In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our furry residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while engaging with pet owners and team members alike. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns. Handle dogs safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort and security. Support pet owners with customer service inquiries regarding their pets' care. Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling appointments. Experience Previous experience in pet care or as a veterinary technician is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical activities throughout the workday. Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods is a plus. Familiarity with basic grooming practices is advantageous. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential. Willingness to work flexible hours, including all weekends.
