Cleaning Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support for our furry friends. This position requires a love for animals and the ability to handle them with care and patience.
Duties:
  • Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas
  • Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to the veterinary team
  • Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
  • Provide basic training and socialization for dogs
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment
  • Must be comfortable performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks, including the handling and disposal of bodily fluids and waste
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in pet care, animal handling, or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with veterinary procedures and terminology is beneficial
  • Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Must be 18 or older
