In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our canine clients while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with animals and contribute to their overall well-being in a supportive environment. Professional experience with animals is required , but training opportunities are available for the right candidate. Pay includes competitive hourly wage starting at $16.00/hour (and up) •

Duties include:

provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs guiding pet parents through the self service process; providing assistance as needed setting up bathing and grooming stations scheduling clients for services maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including equipment and supplies brush, bathe, and dry dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their comfort throughout the process trimming nails, expressing anal glands, plucking ears, etc. assisting groomers as needed

Set Schedule:

Occasionally, extra coverage may be needed on other days so we ask for flexibility and understanding, however, generally there is a set schedule each week! Requirements Experience in dog handling and animal care is essential Previous experience in pet grooming or veterinary settings is highly desirable Skills in animal restraint and heavy lifting are required for handling larger breeds; ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation Customer service skills are crucial for interacting with pet owners effectively A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is a must High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types:
