Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming station, adhering to health and safety standards at all times Assess each pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or pet care advice to owners Manage pet handling with patience and compassion, especially with anxious or difficult dogs Assist with pet sitting or kennel duties as needed to support overall animal care operations Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, or health concerns Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely during grooming procedures Familiarity with pet grooming tools, equipment, and techniques for various breeds and coat types Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large dogs or equipment safely and comfortably Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners and team members Prior kennel experience or animal handling background enhances your suitability for this role Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
