Job Description

About us: Villa La Paws is an award-winning, stress-free pet resort and spa. We provide doggy daycare and slumber parties to small and large dogs alike, as well as five-star spa and grooming services
  • all in a stress-free environment.
We are a 24 hour facility.

We have 24 hour cameras.
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Have an upbeat, friendly, and professional attitude Be compassionate/caring; Can work individually, as well as on a team Self-starter personality that can complete daily tasks without the need for constant direction Have a "Pack leader" mentality Able to lift up to 50 lbs Be able to handle large groups of dogs of varying sizes(group size 15 to 20 dogs) Be experienced working with animals in a commercial setting(e.g. animal boarding facility,animal hospital, or other animal care experience) Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • (this job you will be on your feet majority of your shift ) Have good communication skills Basic knowledge of cleaning
Requirements:
  • Flexible hours
  • Must work major Holidays
  • Must work weekends especially Sundays .please do not apply if you cannot work weekends
  • Have a love for animals
  • Have Reliable transportation
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • One year experience working with animals Morning & Evening shift ranges: 6:00 AM
  • 11 PM Looking for someone that can do all shifts 7a-12p/ 12p-7p /240p-10p We are looking for confident individuals who are passionate about animals.
Applicants must be able to, or willing to learn, animal body language to effectively keep group safety. Applicants should be attentive to details and able to multitask efficiently. Applicants must also be aware we do not breed discriminate. Stafford shire Breeds, Bully Breeds, Rottweilers, etc., are present in our daycare environment. ' '
