FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED DOG GROOMER - POMPTON LAKES, NJ
Pampered Pooches is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team in Pompton Lakes, NJ. This role is for a groomer who can confidently handle full grooms independently and maintain quality in a busy salon environment. We're a growing company with multiple locations and a team that genuinely loves what we do. What You'll Do- Perform full dog grooming services from start to finish
- Groom dogs according to breed standards and client requests
- Bathe, dry, brush, clip, scissor, and finish dogs to a high standard
- Communicate professionally with pet parents during drop-off and pick-up
- Ensure each pet has a safe and comfortable grooming experience
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming environment
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
- Work collaboratively with our team to create a positive salon atmosphere What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on professional dog grooming experience required. Applicants must be able to complete full grooms independently from start to finish.
- Strong scissoring, bathing, drying, finishing, and breed-specific grooming skills
- Comfortable grooming dogs of different breeds, coat types, sizes, and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Positive attitude and team mentality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Weekend availability preferred
