Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. If you have a love for animals and possess excellent grooming skills, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin and provide appropriate grooming treatments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to pet owners' requests and addressing any concerns
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related role is preferred
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Proficiency in various grooming techniques and tools
- Strong animal handling skills and the ability to work with pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- Good communication skills to interact with pet owners and understand their preferences
