Position Summary:

As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Golden Paws Pet Resort & Spa, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for our canine clients. You will be responsible for supervising and caring for dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being while they enjoy and off-leash play environment.

Responsibilities:

Dog Supervision:

Monitor dogs in playgroups to ensure safe and appropriate play, addressing any behavioral or health issues promptly.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including play yards, play equipment, and indoor areas.

Exercise and Play:

Engage with dogs in physical and mental exercises while in group. Utilize skills such as "Gate Control", "Recall", and "Group Sits," all of which you will be trained in.

Reporting:

Report any health or behavior concerns to management and team leads.

Safety:

Enforce safety protocols, including leash control, group management, and emergency response procedures.

Teamwork:

Communicate with other team members to ensure a smooth, supportive and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of dog behavior and body language is a plus. Previous experience working with dogs is not required Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry dogs of various sizes and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, and outdoor environment. Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed. A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
