Role:
General Application for Trot & Train Team Secaucus, NJ (and surrounding areas in Hudson & Bergen County) We encourage you to apply if you're from the following locations: Rutherford, Lyndhurst, Weehawken, West New York, North Bergen) Monday to Sunday 9 — 5 pm. Hours will vary based on shifts. Competitive hourly pay and reliability bonuses. This is an on-site role where you'll be responsible for safely walking dogs, supporting their behavior, and ensuring their overall well-being. You'll also communicate with clients, follow individualized care instructions, and help reinforce structure and positive habits during walks. What You'll Do Safely walk and handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels Monitor behavior and support positive habits Follow structured care instructions for each dog Communicate clearly with clients and team members Provide a reliable, consistent, and high-quality experience You Are Punctual, responsible, and proactive A strong communicator Comfortable and confident with dogs of all sizes Energetic, positive, and physically active Respectful of clients' homes and routines Passionate about animal care and behavior Qualifications Experience in animal care, pet care, or dog handling preferred (not just personal or family pets) Understanding of dog behavior and basic training principles Must be 21 years or older Physically able to walk multiple dogs and stay active outdoors Ability to manage a flexible schedule Must have a reliable personal vehicle (public transportation is not permitted for this role) Pet CPR or First Aid certification is a plus (not required) What We Provide Training and ongoing support Organized scheduling and team communication systems Opportunities for growth as we expand A positive, supportive team environment Please fill out the form below to begin your application process.
